While it’s still a few hours until pitches begin, I’ve already seen some great hacks with the HERE location platform, including a safety app using the Geofencing API and an app that helps people volunteer to pick up trash using gamification and the Waypoint Sequence API (this is something Berlin urgently needs).
One of the teams is trying to turn singing into maps. No, really. I can’t wait to see that pitch. Their debugging process sounds interesting to say the least. Another team has a member who’s a dreadlocks-wearing poodle . He’s definitely a good boy and possibly a full stack developer.
Let’s just say I’m having a good time. If you want to have a good time, too, I have some great news for you. We will also be sponsoring and attending the #AH10 events in Singapore on June 17–18 and in Seattle on July 15–16. If that’s not enough, we’re also giving away prizes if you use our APIs at these hackathons. Check out this lil’ guy!
Happy hacking and we hope to see you in Singapore and Seattle soon!
